How long are swamp airboat rides?
This varies based on the venue. However, most places offer rides that are about 30 minutes long, and also a longer ride option that is an hour or two hours long. This is not an all-day or even a half-day excursion; hopefully that helps as you try to plan your day.
Will there be alligators?
Most swamp areas are home to alligators and crocodiles, and seeing them is a big part of the airboat ride experience. You can usually count on seeing at least one group of them, as the drivers take the boats into areas where they're pretty sure these animals will be. You don't have to worry about danger, though; you'll be safely inside the airboat. What should you wear?
